While studying evolution we see how the species originated and evolved into advanced life forms from crude ones. Charles Darwin's “Survival of the Fittest” and “Natural Selection” theories give enough evidences that Homo sapiens (or simply humans i.e. us) are the most superior forms of life (well, at least we think so). But here I am not talking about such evolutionary phenomenon.
Its high time when we should realize that even among humans some think that they are better, or I should rather say 'superior' to others. Yes, I am talking about the species called as “Leaders”. In principle, they were elected to represent us, to carry the flag and march forward so that those who are meek, helpless, their voices can be heard. What I have understood studying history and civics, that our founding fathers drafted the best constitution in the world with best of hopes and thoughts, but in due course of time meanings have changed. A “leader” was meant to “lead” people, now they think they can “rule”. Parliament was made to serve as a place where issues can be discussed and debated over and now it is serving a place for sleeping, abusing each other, and buying and selling like a market. The provision of amendment was supplied so that laws which needed to be changed with time and needs, can be changed for the betterment of people, but this provision has been mostly used to increase facilities for the most “poor” rich people who hardly do any work (well, there are some exceptions). And similar stories which you and I can see and feel more or less on a daily basis.
Now, coming back to science. The theory of survival of the fittest states that only those will prevail who can adapt to the changing environment and thus they are called the superior species. In present scenario, I don't think that any one can be called as the superior species other than the middle class who have adapted to price rise, tax rise, loan interest hike, betrayal from their own elected so called leaders. So how can our “Leaders” think they are superior?? See... even science proves them wrong...
