It is high time now when India needs to be tagged as a "Developed nation" rather than a "Developing nation". When we all focus to produce more Ph.Ds and attract more young brains in Science and Academics we are hard hit by the social and financial status of research students. Most of us lack assurances for jobs and settlements. We have to cross the hurdles of Ph.D and Post Doc (While most of us losing hope and giving up for better other options).
